This would be the most accessible approach if you’re willing to travel from Delhi or Chandigarh, particularly if you’re on a limited budget. Take a direct volvo bus from Delhi to Bir and reach Bir in just several hours, about 8 to 10 hours. Most of the coaches run overnight so; you should take note.
If you’re looking for the cheapest way of travel to reach Bir then it would be by train. Still, it can get a little challenging as Bir has no railway station. There is toy train runs between Pathankot and Jogindernagar but we suggest you to take a train till Pathankot and get on a bus to Palampur for approximately 4-5 hours. From Palampur, plenty of direct buses are availabe for Baijnath and Bir.
Now that you have entered Bir, you need directions to reach Billing. The place is known take-off point. There are very fewer options to get to Billing; you can either trek from Bir to Billing or hire a taxi or rent a bike or a car to get to Billing as no direct bus run to that locality.
