DAY WISE ITINERARY
Day 1 - Dehradun to Lohajung (Drive)
Distance: Approximately 295 km
Duration: 10-11 hours by road
Route: Dehradun – Devprayag – Karnaprayag – Tharali – Lohajung
Meals: Dinner only
The drive to Lohajung is scenic, passing through winding roads, riversides, and beautiful valleys. The journey offers a view of Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet. You’ll arrive at Lohajung, the base camp, by evening.
Day 2 - Lohajung to Bekaltal (Trek)
Distance: 6 km
Duration: 4-5 hours
Altitude: 7,600 ft to 9,800 ft
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
The trek begins with a gentle ascent through dense oak and rhododendron forests. Along the way, you’ll pass small streams and beautiful clearings. Bekaltal, a serene lake surrounded by thick oak trees, is the first campsite.
Day 3 - Bekaltal to Brahmatal (Trek)
Distance: 7 km
Duration: 5-6 hours
Altitude: 9,800 ft to 10,450 ft
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
The trail today involves gradual ascents with a few steep sections, offering glimpses of the high Himalayas. The route passes through scenic clearings before reaching the Brahmatal campsite, where you can camp close to the frozen lake.
Day 4 - Brahmatal to Brahmatal Top (Summit) and back to Lohajung
Distance: 10 km
Duration: 7-8 hours
Altitude: 10,450 ft to 12,250 ft (Brahmatal Top) and back to 7,600 ft
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Today’s trek takes you to the highest point of the trek, Brahmatal Top. This section involves a steep climb, with open ridges providing panoramic views. After spending some time at the summit, the descent back to Lohajung begins.
Day 5 - Lohajung to Dehradun (Drive)
Distance: 295 km
Duration: 10-11 hours drive
Meals: Breakfast only
Drive back to Dehradun, concluding your trek with one last scenic journey through Uttarakhand’s picturesque landscapes.

HOW TO REACH
By Train:
- Dehradun to Kathgodam: Take a train from Dehradun Railway Station to Kathgodam Railway Station.
- Duration: Around 7-8 hours (depending on the train).
- Popular Trains: Dehradun-Kathgodam Express (check for available trains and timings).
- From Kathgodam to Lohajung: Hire a taxi or shared vehicle to Lohajung, the base for the Brahmatal trek.
- Distance: Around 93 km (5-6 hours drive).
By Bus:
- Dehradun to Kathgodam: Buses operate from Dehradun to Haldwani or Kathgodam, but the journey may take 9-10 hours and be less direct.
- From Kathgodam to Lohajung: Take a taxi or shared jeep to reach Lohajung.
By Road :
- Dehradun to Lohajung: Drive via Dehradun → Rishikesh → Haridwar → Kotdwara → Haldwani → Kathgodam → Lohajung.
- Time: About 275-300 km | Approximately 7-9 hours (depending on traffic and road conditions).
Brahmatal Trek Starting Point: The trek begins at Lohajung. From here, the trail heads towards Bekaltal, then to Brahmatal.

CONFIRMATION POLICY
- Within a day of a successful booking, the client gets a voucher of the confirmation through email.
- If the preferred slots are not available, an alternative schedule will be arranged according to the preference of the customer, and a new voucher of confirmation will be sent through email.
- Alternatively, before confirmation, the customer can decide to cancel their booking, and a complete refund will be issued.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations made in between 45 days of the start date of the trip will be assessed a cancellation fee of 25% of the total tour cost.
- Cancellations made between 15-30 days of the trip’s start date will be charged 50% of the total tour cost as cancellation fees.
- If you cancel within 0-15 days of the trip’s start date, you will be charged 100% of the entire tour cost as cancellation fees.
- In the event of bad weather or government restrictions, any trips or events may be cancelled. In such a case, the operators will do all possible to give a viable alternative. However, a cash refund is not available on this item.
REFUND POLICY
If you select a refund after canceling your trek, the refund amount will be deposited into the payment account that you had used while making payment to us. It will take ten to twelve working days.
