TREK OVERVIEW
The Pangchulla adventure is a 6-day, 5-night adventure starting from Karchi Village in Uttarakhand. The route takes you to the open via oak and rhododendron forests, which fascinate the ideas of the Himalayas, with the basis of Pangarchullah Peak. The highlight climbs up 15,069 feet, a challenging 12 km trek that rewards you with fantastic scenes by Nanda Devi, Dronegiri, Chaukhamba, and Hathi-Ghoda peaks as you reach the summit.
This trek is considered to be the most difficult trek; this detailed itinerary offers both excitement and beauty. With trained leaders, planned meals, and a focus on safety, the trek offers a rewarding and safe experience for those who want to enjoy the trek.

DAY WISE ITINERARY
Day 1 - Drive from Haridwar/Rishikesh to Karchi (Base Village) | Start of Pangarchulla Trek
Reporting Location – Natraj Chawk, Dehradun

Drive Distance – 270 km (Dehradun to Karchi)

The journey begins with Dehradun or Rishikesh, passing through Joshimath with mesmerizing Himalayan views, making it a perfect starting point for the trek to Pangarchulla. Beautiful routes take you to rivers, attractive villages, and green forests along the pass trek. When he reaches Karchi, the trekkers stay at a guesthouse or campsite, followed by a Trek briefing, dinner, and a rest under the sky.
Day 2 - Trek from Karchi to Akheer Gota | Trek Essentials & First Trek Experience

The tour starts with a steady climb through oak and rhododendron forests, directed by an experienced Trek leader, ensuring a comfortable Trek. As the height increases, the scar is opened with a beautiful view of the Himalayas in the vast meadows, which improves the entire trek experience. The camp is set in Akheer Gota, where trackers relax, eat, and enjoy the surroundings in a quiet mountain.
Day 3 - Trek from Akheer Gota to Khullara | Best Time & Highlights of Pangarchulla Peak

This small trek gradually passes through the alpine region, which offers fantastic scenes of Mt. Dronagiri, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba. At Khullara, the trekkers discovered the direct environment, rested in the camps, and prepared for the summit push.
Day 4 - Summit Day: Khullara to Pangarchulla Peak & Back | High Altitude Trek Experience

The toughest day of the trip begins quickly with snowfall and a standing climb in the rocky area. When Pangarchulla Peak comes, the draw is rewarded with panoramic views of Hathi-Bhoda, Chaukhamba, Dronagiri, and Nanda Devi, making it an attraction of the trip. After they enjoy a warm meal, they spend the night resting in tents.
Day 5 - Trek from Khullara to Karchi | Served During the Trek & Trek Cost Overview

Treakers grow from alpine grasslands to green valleys, switching landscapes, and conclude at the wooden point at the top of Pangarchullah. Although the trail still needs stable steps, it is necessary for those who want to trek comfortably. When they reach Karchi, they like hot food, a comfortable life alternative, and share stories around a comfortable bonfire, which leads to memorable and lasting memories from the entire journey.
Day 6 - Drive Back to Haridwar/Rishikesh | Time to Do the Pangarchulla Trek & Wrap-up

After breakfast, trekkers start their 270 km return journey, which takes around 8–10 hours. The drive passes through valleys, rivers, and mountain views. On the way, they think of the trek and the time spent together, especially as they trek to Pangarchulla Peak. In the evening, they reach Haridwar/Rishikesh and end their Himalayas.

HOW TO REACH
To reach the Pangarchulla famous trek in Uttarakhand, India, follow these steps to ensure you complete the trek successfully:
Reach Dehradun / Rishikesh
By Air: Fly to Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, which is connected to Delhi and other major cities. From the airport, taxis are available to Rishikesh or Dehradun City.
By Train: Dehradun and Haridwar railway stations are well-connected to Delhi, Mumbai, and other cities. From there, continue by road.
By Road: Regular buses and shared taxis connect Delhi to Dehradun/Haridwar/Rishikesh. The journey takes 6-8 hours.
Trek Base Camp: Dehradun/Rishikesh to Karchi Village
Distance Covered: About 270 km, taking 8–10 hours by road.
Route: Drive through Rishikesh– Karnaprayag – Joshimath – to Karchi (Base Village).
Mode of Commute: Private taxis, shared cabs, or transport arranged by trekking groups are available. The package usually includes a transfer to Dehradun in the Karchi and back.
Start the Pangarchulla Trek
The tour starts from the village of Kachi, where the pullers moved through the evening before climbing Akheer Gota and Khullara, which led to the Pangarchulla summit.
THINGS TO CARRY
- Trekking shoes: Strong shoes with high attack for this trek.
- Warm clothes: Thermal innerwear, wool, and a jacket should be a winter cover.
- Rain equipment: Waterproof jacket/pants to manage sudden weather changes en route.
- Accessories: Wool gloves, socks, balaclava, cap, and scarf – everything you need under trek.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen: High-height sun can be harsh; security is required.
- Backpack (40-50L): Comfortable, with a rain cover, to carry all trek essentials.
- First aid kit and medicines: For safety throughout the trip.
- Headlamp/torch: Necessary to safely complete the trip in low light.
- Personal toiletries and hygiene sets: Necessary for a safe trek experience.
- ID Proof: Mandatory for permissions at the starting point of the trek.
CONFIRMATION POLICY
- Within a day of a successful booking, the client gets a voucher of the confirmation through email.
- If the preferred slots are not available, an alternative schedule will be arranged according to the preference of the customer, and a new voucher of confirmation will be sent through email.
- Alternatively, before confirmation, the customer can decide to cancel their booking, and a complete refund will be issued.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations made in between 45 days of the start date of the trip will be assessed a cancellation fee of 25% of the total tour cost.
- Cancellations made between 15-30 days of the trip’s start date will be charged 50% of the total tour cost as cancellation fees.
- If you cancel within 0-15 days of the trip’s start date, you will be charged 100% of the entire tour cost as cancellation fees.
- In the event of bad weather or government restrictions, any trips or events may be cancelled. In such a case, the operators will do all possible to give a viable alternative. However, a cash refund is not available on this item.
REFUND POLICY
If you select a refund after canceling your trek, the refund amount will be deposited into the payment account that you had used while making payment to us. It will take ten to twelve working days.
